About Us The Hodges-Hodge Society was formed in November 2006 by researchers of Hodge and Hodges families, who met in Houston to share information and ideas. They decided to informally organize to set up a framework for data sharing and cooperative research. The Society has since held meetings in Richmond, Virginia, Taunton, Massachusetts, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, and Charleston, South Carolina. Meeting participants have generated several promising ideas for gathering, organizing, and archiving Hodge(s) family data. The society has set up a searchable database of Hodge(s) genealogical information. 2013 Conference - August 24 and 25, Fort Wayne, Indiana The society enjoyed a successful and enjoyable conference in Charleston in October 2012. Attendees voted to hold the 2013 conference in August in Fort Wayne, Indiana in conjunction with the meeting of the Federation of Genealogical Societies. The 2014 conference will be held in Richmond, Virginia in May in conjunction with the National Genealogical Society meeting. Fort Wayne is home to the Allen County Public Library, whose Genealogy Center is second only to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City in quantity of material. The conference hotel, the Hyatt Place Fort Wayne, is four miles from the library. For a listing of library collections and hours, download their brochure. The registration fee for the conference is $70, which includes lunch on Saturday.
