The Hodges-Hodge Society was formed in November 2006 by researchers of Hodge and Hodges families, who met in Houston to share information and ideas. They decided to informally organize to set up a framework for data sharing and cooperative research. The Society held its second and third meetings in October 2007 and 2008 in Richmond, Virginia and Taunton, Massachusetts. The next meeting will be held in 2010 on October 15-17 in Salt Lake City. Meeting participants have generated several promising ideas for gathering, organizing, and archiving Hodge(s) family data. The society has set up a searchable database of Hodge(s) genealogical information.

Annual dues for membership in the Hodges-Hodge Society are $25. Membership provides access to the members-only section of the Hodges-Hodge Society web site, which contains Hodge(s) files submitted by researchers and presentation materials from the society's meetings. The meeting organizing committee has decided to postpone the Salt Lake City meeting to 2010 in hopes that improvements in the economy will result in better attendance. The weekend of October 16, 2010 has been selected. The location will be Salt Lake City. More details will appear on this page as they become available.
